I am shouting-out to you because the teenagers in our area are facing a terrible problem. Gang violence, teen pregnancies, drug and alcohol use are destroying our kids and stealing their innocence away. Every teenager I know is at risk in some way; churched, un-churched, saved, sinners or forgotten are all stuggling to keep their heads above water and it’s getting worse with each generation.
We need to turn the tide before it’s too late! I’m asking for your help. I found a group of adults who are willing to stand in the gap to make a difference in teens' lives. They recruit mentors for students in our area and have already put over 1700 of them into action right here in Tennessee. With over 7,000 teenagers in Columbia alone we need more mentors.
I will be riding with them on June 7th at the Columbia courthouse to bring attention to this problem and raise money for this fight. I need your help to raise $250 by then.
